Matt ?Femur bust?n? Trulin and Momma!
21 Apr 2006 at 8:34am
Matt ?Femur bust?n? Trulin will be heading to Cycleland this weekend looking to impress his momma with his natural wrist twist?n ability. His last race netted him a wee bit of pride, a trophy for a non-podium finish and an opportunity to hear dear old mom to tell the world how handsome he was (priceless) - this week who knows how he?ll do - one thing however is certain, I will be out the cost of his race and someone better bring me a beer!

The limp wrist V.S. A strong opposing digit
3 Feb 2006 at 8:47am
I cant help but get a kick out of all the Bike v.s Quad debates that occur at virtually every ride that I attend. IMHO (In My humble Companion) if ya cant deal with the idea of swinging 400 lbs beneath ya, and feel more comfortable with a more lithe appendage, then grab your self one of the many limp wrested rockets and enjoy the dirt... If the Idea of 400lbs of churning machine, meaty rubber and a enough suspension to suck up the biggest of hits floats your boat, than grab virtually any of the modern race inspired quads. Trust me you will soon have an understanding as to why we have thumbs - well besides that awkward first date experience;) Enjoy

Cross Dressers and FakeRacing Gear?
3 Feb 2006 at 8:32am
Well its a new year and as such time for some updates, new direction and a bit of reflection:) On the updates front, we are in the process of updating the gallery to provide for faster page loads, and new features including RSS feeds. In addition we will be releasing a new batch of shirt designs - based on past sales woman?s gear is blowing the door off the men?s stuff so look for new gear in that department first - hmm, i hope that does not mean that I have a bunch of cross dressers on the site;)

Where have I been!
23 Nov 2005 at 9:55am
Geez, it seems like its been along time since my last update.... so what?s new you might be asking. Well let me tell you first off we have updated the Girl of the Month section of the gallery - take a peek I'm sure you will not be disappointed. I have also been working on new shirt designs and hope to have them available soon - so keep checking back.

Corry Weller Back in Action
3 Aug 2005 at 1:27pm
Well with a little grit and a whole lot of determination Corry Weller goes 2/2 at this past weekends ITP race at Glen Helen. Look for Corry to drive hard for the top podium spot at the next ITP race at Speedworld (her home track)

Corry Colaw gets downright freaky...
16 May 2005 at 12:24pm
Corry Colaw gets downright freaky at this past weekends WORCS series race in Southern Cal entering (and yes actually racing) 3 classes! As for results well I think they speak for themselves;) 4th in the production B-class, 2nd in the woman?s A-class, and last but not least Corry managed to spank a couple of men in the 30+ men?s class, ultimately taking another 2nd place finish!

Micah Adams Joins the Ranks of Team FakeRacing

NEW! FakeRacing Girl of the Month - Mandy Lane
11 May 2005 at 8:32am
Well after being politely harassed by several FakeRacers I decided it was time to bring back the girl of the month. With that said, let me thank Mandy Lane for providing an exciting new gallery and for getting these guys off my back - LOL

Run Forest Run!
24 Mar 2005 at 2:33pm
I Picked up yet another knee brace today making this the third one. You know what they say the third times a charm - or is it? I will be adding a full review of this brace in the coming weeks and rest assured I will give you my unbiased opinion on this high dollar wonder. So what brand is it? Well here is a hint: Its not a CTI, DonJoy, or an Asterisk.

Reward offered from Moto Adventures
10 Mar 2005 at 8:13am
My 30' race trailer with 5 ATV's and my son's KTM50 was stollen from in front of my house today. I live in Santa Clara, CA. The trailer has my company's logo on it,"Moto Adventures" and its white. It has my name JLovier and race # 140 on the door, along with some other sponser type stickers. A large reward will be given to anyone supplying information that leads to an arrest. This was my rental fleet! I can no longer offer that now. Please help. Thank you, John , Owner Moto Adventures 408-261-2890

New Gear Has Arrived! More on the Way.
2 Mar 2005 at 10:30am
You would think that having done this (Design, marketing?) most of my adult life I would at some point cease to get excited about the arrival of new things.... but nope. Each time a box arrives I feel like its Christmas morning all over again:). For all those that pre-ordered I will get your orders out ASAP, for those of you whom are still on the fence, what are ya waiting for? I look forward to hearing what all of you think about the new line of FakeRacing hats, shirts, and stickers. Cheers, Andrew PS. Thanks Sundog for helping to make these shirts the best yet.

A Real Store for FakeRacing
18 Feb 2005 at 9:22am
After nearly a year of putting this off I finally decided to add a store to the FakeRacing site? What this means is that free shirts are a thing of the past:( What it also means is more variety in the gear offerings. I will be adding new gear to the store over the next couple weeks so stay tuned.

Additionally, I will look to add additional services to this site such as the FakeRacing forum, and increase my sponsorship activities (Cory, and Brian look for additional team-members as well as more gear/support coming your way). I know its been thin thus far, and wan to thank you for sticking it out.

A long tube, soothing muzak and a lab-tech named.....
16 Feb 2005 at 4:34pm
For those of you whom have followed this little saga I had a little get off last week at P-City the result is another bum knee (any weather station looking for someone to handle predictions feel free to contact me directly.) Sometime next week the good Doc. has ordered an MRI and has graciously agreed to fit me in before he leaves for a week to fulfill the remainder of his service with the guard? Sooooo, looks like surgery next week followed by a flood of bills and discussions with my insurance company about what they will and will not cover. You know in comparison I think the surgery will be the fun part.

What in the world is up with FOURATV/O'Neal!
11 Feb 2005 at 11:37am
Just had to get a second opinion on this one. Last night while looking for some new gear online, my girlfriend came across Four's new website www.fouratv.com. Four ATV appears to be a spin off of O'neal - same contacts page and all, anyway, she happened to see a featured shirt in their online store, which reads: "Girls If You Don?t Ride Four, Then Youre A Dirty Whore" Shirt here: http://www.fouratv.com/catalog/prod...products_id=245 This garbage really bothers me and I would assume it would bother most of you as well....if not then thank me for turning you on to another place to drop $20. If this type of thing does bother you then I encourage you to email the folks at fouratv.com and let then know how you feel about this sort of thing.

Fox Racing, on a plane on a train and in a mall near you!
9 Feb 2005 at 1:48pm
Well I just got my Fox (Racing, Riders, Core, insert Identity crisis here) sales ad in my inbox and was stunned to see the hot new fashion trends that Fox was setting. Women take note; Polka Dots are huge this year in the fox fashion scene, as are a host of new and improved, made for the mall fashion looks. I had actually thought that the introduction of the Fox short-billed trucker hat was an all-new low, that is until I saw the latest fox mall fashions, complete with gel ink and glitter. So what?s next for Fox? One can only imagine but my money is on a new line of low cost fashion gear called ?fox mart?, which will be Wal-Mart?s answer to the high cost of today?s MX fashion.

No sh** It doesn?t bend that way!
8 Feb 2005 at 9:31am
Where to begin, well over the past weekend I made yet another trek down to Prairie City for a day of riding with Mr. White shoes and friends. P-city IMHO is the best state OHV parks in nor-cal, if you have not been do yourself a favor and take the time to check it out.

Heading out across one of the many roads, and trials I quickly discovered that vehicles flight is very possible - simply add judicious amounts of throttle and one nasty water diversion dam and presto ? Flight! Take note: While vehicles flight is more than possible landings are not advised with out the aid of some form of suspension, (skin bone and a thin layer of jersey material aside).

So where does this leave me? Simply put, with a new found knowledge that a knee is really only meant to bend one way, that dirt and rocks are far tougher than polyester, nylon and skin, 6weeks =?s a crap-load of Cheers, and Cosby show re-runs, and sleeping is more fun when your skin does not actually stick to the sheets.

Looking out a week or two... most likely a trip to the orthopedic surgeon, and re-reading fun with crutches, by Mr. Dumass. Cheers! Andrew

In the coming weeks we will be posting product reviews and allowing others to easily publish our reviews and Blog rambling on their own site. Hope you enjoy the changes.

From the live and learn Dept:
21 Jan 2005 at 9:52am
Canadian border guards have a crappy since of humor, duty-free beer is more trouble than its worth, and Canada is very particular about whom they let into their country, that is unless your willing to pay $200 ($185usd) for a 24hour all access pass;), Vancouver does not yet know how to hold a supercross event and what the F*** do you mean I can only get popcorn with my hotdog?

Derek Archuleta - Another Nor-Cal MX rider that has been tearing up the local tracks has decided to associate himself with FakeRacing. Why? Memorial Day Weekend on the Water

Once again we will be camping on the water at Lake Oroville - The boat is ready the gear packed and I?m getting anxious. If you happen to see us on the water, feel free to stop by and say hello. Update from Shawn?s Mom;)
5 Jan 2005 at 3:33pm
Shawn "insert nick name here" Anderson ran in this past weekends Quad Wars in Merced - (waiting for results) Congratulations Shawn!

Update: Brian Endicott
4 Jan 2005 at 3:33pm
Apparently when Brian Endicott overshot the table on the first lap of moto 2 (landing in the flat) at last weekends race at Cycleland he managed to fracture his wrist. How he was able to battle into first and maintain that lead for 5 laps is anyone guess. IMHO, that?s called turn'n raisins into melons - See ya in 5-weeks Brian.

May 2nd, Cycleland Speedway
3 Jan 2005 at 3:34pm
Brian Endicott takes second in moto 1, and was pulling away in moto 2 when an unfortunate stall ended his race with less than a 1/2 lap remaining. Shawn "Bansheeboy" Anderson proved he was ready for a new nickname on Sunday by taking 3rd in the pro-class! How about: Shawn "Raisins" Anderson;) - looking forward to seeing more wins from you in the future.

Updated: Quad Wars
2 Jan 2005 at 3:34pm
Brian Endicott, by invitation of Nic Granlund will be getting some seat time at this weekends Quad Wars in Fresno, Ca. Team Fresno Sweeps The Event. - Jason Anderson takes the win on Saturday - Team captain, Brian Endicott walks away with the win on Sunday.

Welcome Brian Endicott to Team FakeRacing
1 Jan 2005 at 3:35pm
Brian Endicott takes forth place overall in the Pro Class at Cycleland Speedway! After a disappointing 6th place finish in Moto1, Brian borrowed a set of lower profile and wider rear tires (ITP Hole shots) to replace the crappy stockers and battled back to a second place finish in Moto 2 (aboard a stock yfz450r). Track side photos. Needless to say there were several sticker-boyz who were not so happy;)
